LAST CALL AT THIS BAR
Last call at this bar,
This whiskey’s
getting stale,
Two shots left, and a bullet in my pocket,
I don’t have
what it takes anymore.
Last call at this bar,
My heart’s running
thin,
As my mind shone away from thinking,
But i kept calling her name.
Last call at this bar,
And I’m going to leave this town for good,
There’s so much pain at stake,
And I have given all of it up.
Last call at this bar,
I can’t even stay in this world anymore,
The revolver’s getting warm,
My soul is drifting away from me.
Last call at this bar,
She wants me dead for good,
The way she
pointed me to the door,
I couldn’t take it anymore.
Last call at
this bar,
I look around, faces smiling at me,
They have no idea of my
sorrow,
The aggravation, they will never understand.
Last call at
this bar,
I see my friend pleading to me,
Saying "please stay",
But
there’s nothing left for me here anymore.
Last call at this bar,
I
sat in my Shelby and cried,
Maybe leaving is a bad idea,
Maybe taking my
own life is a better idea.
Last call at this bar,
I took the bullet,
loaded it to my revolver,
One last aim at my temple,
As I squeezed the
trigger.
Last call at this bar,
Heaven, at last.
*Death
sounds more comforting than what I have to go through right now*
